Instructional Designer
|
| ANTICIPATED START DATE: |

| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
Bachelor's Degree, teaching experience, two years of experience creating web course materials. A Master's degree is preferred. Must possess strong instructional design, organization and presentation skills, and desire to work in a team environment. Demonstrated proficiency with course management systems, the Adobe Creative Suite and Web design/user interface design, ADA/Section 508 and W3C Web Accessibility Initiative and Guidelines is required. Experience with Web 2.0 technologies, web programming, and multimedia applications preferred. These qualifications may be waived for individuals with appropriate alternative experience.

| RESPONSIBILITIES: |
The instructional designer will work with faculty and staff from member institutions to create and improve their distance deliverable K-20 courseware. The designer will conduct workshops for faculty course developers, assist faculty in designing online courses, suggest improvements and update online instructional materials.

| STARTING SALARY: |
$56,011-$76,376
