If you should cancel, the administration fee is non-refundable. All registrations will be treated on a first come/first served basis. Please be advised that space is limited. You'll pay the CLEP fee by credit card the day of the exam.
Please register for exams here. You will be asked to pay a registration fee, which is different than the exam fee that is paid the day of the exam.
If you have a documented disability and need special accommodations, this must be arranged with the testing staff. Contact our testing office at 860.832.3822.
You must bring a photo identification to sit for an exam. CLEP exams are normally scheduled two Saturdays each month and one Tuesday, at 9 am, 12 noon and 2 pm (Saturday only). All CLEP exams are administered on computers. Rescheduling of exams must be done at least five weeks in advance of the test date.
Written confirmation is sent to all registered examinees.
Food and drink are not permitted in the testing area.

Administration Fee	$35 OR $50	(Non-refundable) - Payable to Charter Oak State College; submitted with the registration form. $35 for Charter Oak students/applicants; $50 for Non-Charter Oak Students.
Exam Fee	$60	Payable to CLEP on the day of the exam by credit card.
The College reserves the right to change fees at any time when circumstances require.

At least five weeks (seven weeks for TECEPs) prior to when you'd like to sit for an exam, call the New Britain office 860.832.3822 to schedule the date and time. DSST/DANTES registration is on-line. Online Test Registration.

Mail your registration form and fees to the above address so that they arrive no later than one month (six weeks for TECEPs) prior to the test date. All test administration fees are non-refundable.

DANTES #9928	Online Test Registration $35 or $50 payable to Charter Oak State College (see below). The College reserves the right to change fees at any time when circumstances require. Matriculated Students/Applicants $35 Non-Matriculated Students $50 AND $70 payable to DANTES Program (money order, bank check or charge to VISA or Mastercard).
