Are my email and Blackboard passwords the same?
Yes and no - students should have received a letter and an email with your user name and password and they use the same username (your Charter Oak email address) and password, but the passwords can be changed and, if you choose different passwords, they would no longer match.

Will my old Blackboard account still work?
The previous usernames Charter Oak used for Blackboard began with a "CO_". We have not deleted these accounts yet so you can still log in, but you will not be enrolled into any of the Spring Semester courses. You will need to use your new account to log in to see your new courses. If you need assistance please contact our Help Desk.
How come I am not getting any emails from my course?
Blackboard has been set up to send email to your new Charter Oak State College email address. You can log into your new email by browsing to webmail.charteroak.edu. Instructions for using email are available on the training page. If you would like to change Blackboard to point to a different email address you can watch our video instructions.
What do I do if I cannot log into email and/or Blackboard?
You should contact our Help Desk they have to ability to reset your email and Blackboard passwords.
