How to Obtain Non-traditional Transcripts

Computer Certifications

Microsoft

Charter Oak State College recognizes credit for some Microsoft exams leading to certification. In order to have this credit evaluated, you will need to have the following documentation sent directly to our Registrar's Office. Microsoft will mail an official paper copy of your transcript directly to you. You can then forward it to Charter Oak State College. All you need to do is:

Call Microsoft at 800-636-7544
Identify yourself as a student wanting to have a sealed copy of your transcript.
Ask the agent to mail you an official paper copy of your transcript in a sealed envelope. When you receive the envelope from Microsoft, do not open it.
Place the unopened envelope in another envelope and mail it to:

CompTIA

Please request that CompTIA send verification for examinations passed.

Log into your CompTIA CareerID.
Click on Publish Certification.
List asincovic@charteroak.edu so that an e-mail validating the certification will be sent directly to Charter Oak State College.

Please make certain to send your test history to us as well, as the verification does not provide us with this information. You may send your test history to us via fax, scanned e-mail or regular mail.

Cisco Systems

You will need to give Charter Oak temporary access to verify certifications in the Cisco Tracking System as follows:

Go to the Cisco Career Certifications Tracking System
Go to the "Validation and Logos" tab and click on "Certification Validation" to set up a validation ID.
Please send asincovic@charteroak.edu the temporary validation ID and the link to the Cisco site & we will check from there.

Sun Microsystems

Sun will mail an official paper copy of your transcript directly to you. You can then forward it to Charter Oak State College. All you need to do is: Contact SUN at who2contact@sun.comIdentify yourself as a student wanting to have a sealed copy of your transcript. Please include your full name and prometric ID.

Ask the agent to mail you an official paper copy of your transcript in a sealed envelope. When you receive the envelope from SUN, do not open it.
Place the unopened envelope in another envelope and mail it directly to Charter Oak State College

Registered Nurse (RN) If you have an associates degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college, please submit an official transcript from that college. If you are a licensed RN but did not complete a regionally accredited nursing degree, please submit the following:
