Credit Courses

Charter Oak’s credit courses offer a convenient way to complete your degree.  When you become a degree-seeking student, you have the option to complete 12 credits of online courses at a reduced cost. In addition, credits earned with Charter Oak are added directly to your transcript – no need for transfer requests. Furthermore, course costs are very reasonable.

Non-Credit Courses

If you already have a degree, or are not interested in earning a degree at this time, you may enjoy one of our non-credit courses.  These courses were developed to provide working adults with personal or professional enrichment. Several of these courses are offered for healthcare workers:

Certificate & Credential Programs

Certificate Programs, combining multiple courses in one subject-area, are offered in:

• Public Safety Administration,
• Project Management, and
• Computer Security

In addition, credentialing is provided for Child Care Directors and workers through the:

• CT Directors' Credential, and
• After School Education Credential

Technical Requirements

Charter Oak’s online courses require the use of a computer with an Internet connection. The Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium (CTDLC) hosts Charter Oak's courses.
