Code of Conduct

The Office of Financial Aid at Charter Oak State College is pleased to provide you with a comprehensive set of standards that guide our financial aid practices.

Memberships and Affiliations

Charter Oak State College has been a longtime member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) and subscribes to that organization's Statement of Ethical Principals and Code of Conduct for Financial Aid Professionals.

Our institution belongs to the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (EASFAA) and to the Connecticut Association of Professional Financial Aid Administrators (CAPFAA).

Code of Conduct

On August 27, 2007, the College adopted the Connecticut Code of Conduct (PDF) and adheres to all of the standards and practices that are outlined in this document for the ethical administration of financial aid.
