Join Charter Oak’s library consultant, Joy Wofse, to learn about all that our
online libraries (iconn and Jones e-Global) have to offer you. Meet her by going to Charter Oak’s website for this one and a half hour workshop. You will see and hear Joy as she shows you how to use this great resource. You will have the opportunity to ask her questions directly through email during the presentation.

Dr. Barry Vroeginday, Director of Distance Learning, will step you through the process of taking an online course at Charter Oak. Learn how to get started and locate
what you need to be successful in online courses. See course shells to get a feel for the online classroom environment. In addition, Carolyn Rogers of the CT Distance Learning Consortium will introduce you to
e-Tutoring, an online resource for students who are looking for assistance with writing and many other subjects. Email questions during the presentation for real-time response.
