We are excited to announce that beginning July 1, 2008, we will launch a new online registration and payment processing system via our student web portal - ACORN. The resulting benefit of this new feature is that your course and payment information in the Charter Oak Student Information System will be updated instantaneously. This means that you will have "realtime" access to your account information at your fingertips. We hope you will find this to be a convenient benefit of being a student at Charter Oak.

We have provided directions regarding the online registration process below.

1. Go to https://acorn.charteroak.edu and logon with your user name and password
2. On your Student tab you will have the ability to search for courses
3. Select the courses you would like to add and follow the registration steps
4. Make sure you pay or secure payment* for your courses or registration will not be completed

*Acceptable forms of payment include: VISA, Master Charge, or Discover Card; checks or e-checks; Financial Aid already awarded; previously arranged company billing and/or; setting up a payment plan

While the move to online registration is now mandatory, the Charter Oak staff is here to assist you should you have any questions. If you are going to be taking Charter Oak video courses, and do not have access to a home computer, we would recommend visiting a local library where you can register online using the library's public computers. For students who can come to the College, a registration kiosk is available in the lobby.
