Microsoft Office 365 Online & Microsoft Office 2013 Downloads for Students & Faculty
Charter Oak State College students and faculty will have access to Microsoft Office 365 -- better webmail and online versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.
Students and faculty will also have the option to download and install Microsoft Office 2013 (Word 2013, PowerPoint 2013, Excel 2013, OneNote 2013, and Outlook 2013) on their home computers for free as long as they are active at Charter Oak State College.
The Upgrade and Downtime
On Friday, January 29, 2016 through Monday, February 1, 2016, we will be upgrading our webmail to Office 365. Email will be unavailable during this upgrade. No action is required by students or faculty for this upgrade.
Once the move is complete, students & faculty will have access to Office 365 (an online version of Office which includes email), as well as the option to download Office 2013.
Once the upgrade has been completed, if you experience any problems accessing your email please contact the Help Desk. You can reach them via telephone: (860) 515-3710 or online at https://www.charteroak.edu/support/ . The help desk is not currently available to answer questions regarding using the Office 365 programs however, so please refer to these guides and resources:
