STEP 2: Request Official Transcripts

Request that your official transcripts, test scores, and proof of certifications from all originating organizations be sent directly to Charter Oak State College, 55 Paul Manafort Drive, New Britain, CT 06053. Transcripts arriving in open envelopes, as an e-mail, or as a fax, are not considered official. How to obtain transcripts for certifications and exams. If you expect any of your transcripts to arrive under an alternate name (i.e. maiden name), please provide that information. Transcript Request Form (PDF)

STEP 3: Receive Acceptance & Evaluation

Once your documents have been received, your file will be reviewed. If you have already earned at least 9 credits, you will be accepted as a student. You will then receive an acceptance letter and an evaluation of your credits including how they may fit into a degree plan.
