All students wanting to take a course will simply need to pay the registration fee, and the cost per credit.

Example: A Connecticut Student taking one 3-credit course will pay $654 ( $45 + $609).
Note: Students may pay for Charter Oak Courses through a Payment Plan.
Military Personnel
Active duty military personnel and their spouses pay Connecticut resident tuition. Military personnel interested in learning about the Charter Oak State College Military Partnership Comprehensive Tuition plan, should visit the Military Education section of this site for more information.
Auditing a Course
Students who wish to audit a course may do so by paying 50% of the per credit tuition plus the registration fee. An audit grade cannot be changed to a letter grade after the course begins.
Additional Costs
All additional costs are indicated in the course syllabus**. Textbooks must be purchased for most courses. Students may do so through Charter Oak’s Virtual Bookstore.
