Connecticut Credit Assessment Program (CCAP)
Charter Oak evaluates non-collegiate instruction and training programs under the Connecticut Credit Assessment Program (CCAP) and recommends whether these programs qualify for college level credit.
Charter Oak students who have completed a CCAP-reviewed program should have your employer or training provider submit an official transcript directly to the Registrar's Office at Charter Oak. Those who are not Charter Oak students should do the same PLUS use the Credit Registry service to transcribe the credit with Charter Oak.
Didn't see your program listed?
- Check if ACE or NCCRS have reviewed it and made credit recommendations.
- Did it lead to a license or credential after a proctored exam? Consider Charter Oak's Credential Evaluation service.
- Did it lead to learning equivalent to college courses that you can demonstrate knowledge of? Consider Charter Oak's Prior Learning Portfolio program.
Attention Training Providers/ Employers
