Connecticut Credit Assessment Program (CCAP)
Through the CCAP program, education and training offered in business or industry can
be evaluated for possible credit by faculty from colleges and universities in Connecticut,
under the auspices of Charter Oak State College and at the request of the sponsoring
organization. Credit recommendations are based on faculty team reviews of course materials
and instruction, not on contact hours alone. Assessments have been completed on medical
and health programs, computer training; civil service training, and more.
Getting your organization's training reviewed for college credit via CCAP
Corporations, proprietary schools, and volunteer and community organizations & agencies
may request review of their programs of instruction or courses of study through the
Connecticut Credit Assessment Program (CCAP).
Are your organization's courses or training programs eligible for CCAP review? See
our self-evaluation checklist.
Policies and procedures for CCAP review are available upon request.
