About Charter Oak Fees
The total cost of attending Charter Oak State College will vary according to students' individual circumstances. Military students are exempt from the semester-based College Fee and pay $250 per credit for courses. Military spouses qualify for the college's low in-state tuition and fees. Fees for international students and non-U.S. citizens are the same as those charged for out-of-state students. Most fees are non-refundable; fees for online courses may be refundable. For the refund policy and calendar, log into the student portal. The College reserves the right to change its fees at any time.
Students must pay the College Fee each semester—fall, spring, summer. Students who miss a semester and then return will be subject to the College Fee of the current semester and the previous missed semester(s). Students can pay two (2) consecutive semesters worth of back payments of the College Fee and still retain their degree status and the degree requirements in effect during their initial matriculation at the College.
Students who fail to pay the College Fee for 2 consecutive semesters will be administratively withdrawn (AW) and lose their degree status after the last day to register for classes in the third semester.
