To that end, the board raises funds and secures grants directed toward closing the equity gap in higher education. Programs funded include a variety of scholarships, grants, prior learning assessment awards, and emergency funding, all designed to help remove the barriers to a college education.
Scholarships are awarded annually, and students interested in applying for scholarships or grants at COSC should watch their email and visit the MyCharterOak Student Portal (Self-Service Tab/Scholarships) for application dates (typically available in the month of August).
