Charter Oak State College offers online Bachelor’s, Master’s and Associate degrees, as well as professional Certificates. The College has key signature programs in Health Care career fields including Health Care Administration, Health Information Management (CAHIIM®-accredited), Health Informatics, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Nursing (CCNE-accredited RN/ADN to BSN), Medical Coding, Sociology, Psychology, Leadership and more.

All Hartford HealthCare colleagues are eligible for a 10% tuition discount on undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs at Charter Oak State College. Plus, HHC employees apply FREE! College representatives will be at on-site locations quarterly and colleagues will be invited to Open Houses and events.

Charter Oak is one of Connecticut’s most affordable options in-state. They offer College credit for qualified credentials and a flexible credit transfer policy designed to honor credits you have already earned. Charter Oak’s Tuition and Fees can be accessed here.

Colleagues can use Hartford HealthCare’s tuition assistance program of up to $5,250 a year for full-timers or $3,000 a year for part-timers, to cover all or part of your education costs, depending on how many credits you take in a calendar year.

Charter Oak State College will honor partnership benefits for all Hartford HealthCare employees. Annually, students in our partnership program will be asked to validate their employment in the form of a valid email.

Email Charter Oak’s Bursar’s office identifying yourself as an HHC employee. The discount is not retroactive but employees will receive all benefits going forward.
