Applying for the Credit

If your credential was issued or valid during the validity period, or effective dates, for the credit recommendation, then you're eligible to apply for the credit. 

  • Consult with your Academic Advisor regarding the applicability of the credit to your degree plan.
  • Contact the PLA Office or the Registrar to apply for the credit.

CSS 435 - Fundamentals of Network Security: 3 credits, upper division level
Equivalent to CSS 435 at Charter Oak State College (COSC).

ITE 145 - Fundamentals of Information Systems Security: 3 credits, lower division level
Equivalent to ITE 145 at Charter Oak State College (COSC).

Introduction to Computer Hardware and Software: 1 credit, lower division level
Introductory knowledge of computer hardware and software used within networks, including but not limited to wired, networks, wireless networks, and cloud computing.
