About the Training Sponsor

The Jewish Bible Association (JBA) is an Israeli nonprofit association affiliated with the Department of Education of the Jewish Agency. The JBA does research on Bible and Judaic Studies and publishes the peer-reviewed academic journal Jewish Bible Quarterly. The JBA offers proficiency examinations in general Hebrew and Judaic studies. The Board of the JBA consists of several retired professors who develop the examinations and assess candidates' proficiency in the subject areas. Exams are offered in the areas of Bible, Talmud, Jewish Law, Hebrew, and Jewish Music.
