GEO 101 - World Regional Geography (3 credits)
This course will focus on introducing the discipline of geography, which links human societies and natural environments, through the examination of the individual characteristics and interconnectedness of the eleven regions of the world. Perspectives from physical, political, historical, economic, and cultural geography are used to describe and characterize the individual regions.
GEO 499 - Geography Capstone (3 credits)
This is capstone course for the Geography concentration and should be taken in the student's last semester. The student can have no more than 6 credits remaining in their concentration to complete in their degree program prior to enrolling in this course. The goal of the course is for students to integrate the knowledge gained in the Geography concentration courses. The course must be taken at Charter Oak State College. Prerequisite(s): ENG 101, ENG 102.
