About the Reviewed Program
The Connecticut Carpenters Apprenticeship and Training Program is an 8,000-hour training program that requires approximately 4 years to complete. Apprentices receive on-the-job training while working alongside Journeyman Carpenters and also receive related training at the training center in Yalesville, CT. Upon completion of the program, apprentices graduate to Journeyman level and receive certification from the Connecticut Department of Labor and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Apprentices must comply with The Connecticut Carpenters Apprenticeship and Training Fund Policies and be members in good standing with the Carpenters Union.
