Once you have received your Blackboard log in credentials, you can self-enroll in a Student Orientation course. The course will be available to you when you log in to Blackboard.
There are two parts to the Student Orientation course, which is recommended for all new Charter Oak students. Part 1 covers some of the basic things you should prepare and do to ensure you are successful as an online student. In Part 2, you can view some how-to videos on using Blackboard, complete a submitted assignment activity, participate in discussion questions and take a quiz. The course is designed to give you an overview of the Blackboard environment and some experience with tools that are part of Charter Oak courses.
This course begins the journey toward your degree! Your advisor will follow up with you if you have any concerns or questions about the Student Orientation content.
